For it transcends the boundaries of time

It's past five in the afternoon and he's at the park...again. Every time he feels a pang in his heart he goes there alone.  There are times when one must be by himself and think things through. The orange rays of the setting sun and the cool wind made him feel light, as if taking away every single pain he felt, he feels and will feel. He sat on the bench while looking at the big red orb slowly sinking to the horizon.

He asked himself: Will she remember me when I'm gone?
Just as the sun happily retires for the night knowing that many will be waiting for his return, can he sleep soundly, assured that she needs him to there? He doesn't know the answer. So he just sat there.

He asked himself again: How can she not care anymore?
Just as quickly as the wind travels from place to place, is he just 'another one' that passed through the timeline of her life? He doesn't know the answer. So he just sat there.

He asked himself for the third time: Why do I still care?
Just as the heart beats for it master, it beats for her too. And if he dies, it would continue to beat for her, for love transcends the boundaries of time. But he doesn't know the answer. So he just sat there.

As the lamp posts began to light the park, he closed his eyes and went into another world - a world where she remembers and cares.

And his heart continued to beat for her, for love transcends the boundaries of time.

- I was planning on posting something lighthearted but my mood suddenly changed so I made this instead. Just another try on writing like the pro's. :)
